Akim of Almaty congratulated theater and film artist Asanali Ashimov on his jubilee

Akim Erbolat Dosayev, on behalf of the Head of State, congratulated the legendary actor, artist of Kazakhstan, Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan Asanali Ashimov on his 85th birthday. Mayor of Almaty conveyed congratulations to the artist from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and State Secretary Erlan Karin. Asanali Ashimov received warm congratulations and good wishes from his family.

 During the meeting, akim noted the artist's outstanding personal contribution to the development of theatrical art and cinema. The actor played the most striking and memorable roles in the films "Kyz-Zhibek", "The End of the Ataman", "Trans-Siberian Express", "Messengers in a hurry" and others, which were included in the golden fund of national cinema.

 “With special respect and reverence, I congratulate you on your anniversary. You have rightfully won the love of the people. Several of our generations have grown up with your films. You occupy a special place in the history of our cinema. Today you support and promote initiatives and projects in the field of art, instruct the youth and glorify the country abroad,” said Erbolat Dossaev and wished the legendary actor long life and creative achievements.

Currently, Asanali Ashimov continues his active work and heads the Association of Theaters of Kazakhstan, is the artistic director of the State Academic Theater named after M. Auezov, as well as the Kazakhfilm studio.

 The solemn event dedicated to the anniversary of Asanali Ashimov will be held on May 27, 2022 at the Abay State Opera and Ballet Theatre. During the event, the masters of theater and cinema will also be awarded the Asanali award for the first time
