A deputy governor of Almaty has been appointed.

Mukhit Azirbayev was born in Almaty, a graduate of the T.Ryskulov Kazakh Economic University.

He has an extensive experience in the private sector. At various times, he worked as the general director of the Kuat-Agro agro-holding company, chairman of the Supervisory Board of Global Building Contract LLP, in various positions at ABN AMRO Bank and Kazkommertsbank JSC.

Since 2017, he was the chairman of the board of the social and entrepreneurial corporation “Almaty”. Prior to the new appointment, he worked as the head of the Office of Entrepreneurship and Investment.
