Within the framework of the citywide Jasyl Meken action, nearly seven thousand trees have been planted in one day in Almaty

More than 120 thousand citizens responded to the invitation to participate in the action, including representatives of public and youth associations, members of the city branch of the Nur Otan party, civil servants, legal entities, KSK, PKSD and youth.

In parallel with the planting of trees in the districts, sanitary cleaning of streets, courtyards, common areas, arych network, as well as channels and river banks was carried out.

Almost 900 units of special equipment were used to remove the collected garbage.

Within the framework of the action along the SAAD, 557 trees were planted from Divaev street to Odesskaya street, including 100 oaks, 175 linden trees, 100 certises, 75 catalpes, 25 birch trees and 82 spruces. In total this spring it is planned to plant more than 12 thousand trees.
