950 grants will be issued i for business ideas

The application period for business idea realization funding has started in Almaty. It is available for young people until 29 years and socially vulnerable classes. The grant amount reaches 400 MCI (up to 1 225 200 tenge per a beneficiary).

Granting is fulfilled in frame of National project in supporting entrepreneurship and is aimed at increasing employment rate and raising average personal income.

This project opens real opportunities to start their own businesses for our citizens. It is essential for Almaty, where SME takes leading points in city economies, where 6 out of 10 citizens work for small enterprises. Starting from this year, application is possible even without the certificate. People can apply from April to November, exact dates will be announced further, - said the deputy board of Employment center Zafar Appazov.

Application is available at business.enbek.kz from April 1, 2022.

To gain the grant, there are several conditions:

• approved status of unemployed, or sole trader license with less than 1-year term condition,
• permanent or temporary (more than 1 year) registration in Almaty
• logged in account at business.enbek.kz;
• ready business plan.

Applicants develop business plan on their own and apply at Business.enbek.kz.

Consideration period is 10 working days.

Grants will be given by the Employment Center based on the decision of commission. The commission evaluates the business plan by following criteria:

• competitiveness of the business idea;
• development of sales markets;
• financial viability of the business project;
• the level of entrepreneurial skills;

creation of new jobs.
