The Head of the city got acquainted with the work of the medical center "Keruen-Medicus" in the Bostandyk district. The center also provides paid services in such areas as obstetrics, pediatrics, surgery, mammology, etc.
The clinic employs 200 highly qualified specialists, the institution is equipped with modern equipment, in particular, MRI, rooms for computed tomography, radiation diagnostics, etc.
Yerbolat Dossaev visited the maternity ward and congratulated the woman in labor. In total, since the opening of the center (2008), almost 7.5 thousand children have been born within its walls, since the beginning of 2022, 170 girls and boys have been born.
During a meeting with the staff, Yerbolat Dossaev noted the high quality of the medical center's services and the importance of private investment in the healthcare sector.
“Modernization of the infrastructure of the healthcare system of our city in the next 3 years is one of the priorities in my work. Unfortunately, in recent years, not a single new multidisciplinary hospital has appeared in our country that would meet all modern standards. I think that we can change the situation, but it takes time. In the next three years, it is necessary to jointly carry out systematic work,” the head of the city emphasized.
Currently, the medical center "Keruen-Medicus" is constructing a new building for the development and expansion of obstetric services as one of the most popular areas. The construction of a 40-bed maternity hospital will expand the clinic's capabilities in such areas as surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, traumatology and pediatric surgery.
After the construction of the new building is completed, 150 additional jobs will be created. The facility is scheduled to be commissioned in March 2023.
