Preferential loans at 2% per annum will be provided to affected SMEs in Almaty
The Almaty Maslikhat approved changes to the Almaty Business-2025 regional program regarding the introduction of a new loan product for small and medium-sized businesses affected by the riots in January 2022. Preferential lending is provided for replenishment of working capital in the amount of up to 10 million tenge at 2% per annum for up to 12 months. The loan is issued against security and/or a partial guarantee of SEC Almaty JSC.

Previously, preferential loans at 2% per annum were provided under the Almaty Business-2025 program to persons from the SUSN category (socially vulnerable segments of the population) and residents of industrial parks.
In addition, the affected SMEs in Almaty are exempted from utility bills for 3 months, the tenants of the municipal property of the city - from rent for 6 months. Additionally, in LLP Almaty Finance and LLP MFO Almaty, they were granted a deferment on repayment of the principal debt, fines and penalties on credit obligations for up to 180 days were canceled.
