A new production of railway sleepers started in Almaty

For the manufacture of reinforced concrete sleepers, allowing high-speed trains to move at speeds up to 300 km per hour, the German technology Vollert is used. The estimated production capacity is half a million sleepers per year.

According to Shukhrad Shardinov, General Director of AZMK LLP, the advantage of the new sleeper production is automated software that allows you to control a clear mode of thermo-wet processing of products. In addition, automation has doubled the productivity, reducing the production time of the sleepers by half, and the production area - in four.

“Today there are 1.5 thousand industrial enterprises in the city and AZMK is one of the leaders of the industry. It employs more than 500 people, formed the whole labor dynasty. As part of the “Nurly Zhol” program, the transport infrastructure is actively developing in the country, so the products of the enterprise will be in great demand. As Elbasy said, everything is done thanks to the person of labor, the working professions will always be appreciated, ”said Bauyrzhan Baybek during informal communication with the plant staff.

It is worth noting that today in the city, measures to support domestic enterprises are being actively implemented, including through the Road Map for Business-2020 and the city program Zhibek Zholy. The investment climate is improving. In the first three months of this year alone, foreign investment increased by 21.4%, reaching 111.1 billion tenge.

In the Industrial zone of the Alatau district 39 projects are being realized for 144 billions tenge. 5 factories with participation of Japanese, Hong Kong, German, Chinese and Russian capital were opened. Among them, a waste sorting complex with a capacity of 550 thousand tons of municipal solid waste per year, a plant for assembling third generation electric buses, etc.

This year, it is planned to launch 4 more enterprises with an investment volume of about 36.7 billion tenge, including the large Kazakhstan-Chinese steel pipe factory Asia Steel Pipe. The construction of the Hyundai car production plant with a capacity of 30 thousand cars a year has begun.
