Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dossayev visited the Central City Clinical Hospital and checked the progress of the construction of a new building of the Center for Children's Emergency Medical Care
 
Akim of Almaty met with the staff of the Central City Clinical Hospital and got acquainted with the work of the Telemedicine Center and the Departments of the Medical institution.
 
Yerbolat Dossayev thanked the hospital staff for the professional performance of their duty during the tragic January events. The staff provided assistance to the wounded and injured, military and civilians with craniocerebral injuries and gunshot wounds.
 
In total, during the tragic January events, more than 300 victims turned to the clinic. Doctors performed over 250 surgeries. Many patients underwent primary emergency operations to stabilize their condition and prevent life-threatening conditions.
 
During the meeting, the Head of the city got acquainted with the work of the Admission Department, Operating Room, Resuscitation and Ophthalmology Department.
 
The Akim of Almaty also assessed the progress of construction of a new building of the Center for Children's Emergency Medical Care. The facility is scheduled to be put into operation before the end of the year.
 
At the end of the meeting, Y. Dossayev discussed problematic issues and plans for further development with the leadership of the medical institution and the public health department.
