Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dossayev met with members of the Public Council of the city
The Head of the metropolis discussed with the members of the Public Council the development of Almaty, as well as further interaction in order to increase the efficiency of solving socially significant problems.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided to hold such discussions on a regular basis.
Topics raised at the meeting were high air pollution, transport interchanges, shortage of school places, agglomeration, land development, adjustments to the general plan of the city, etc. Members of the Almaty Public Council presented their proposals to the Akim regarding the further development of the metropolis.
“There are many questions, all of them are really important, but it is necessary to act in a planned manner and systematically. The Akimat will rely on an integrated approach in the development of the city in the medium term,” said the Mayor of Almaty.
