The decision on compensation for damage to Almaty business is made within 5 days
This was announced by Ilyas Userov, Deputy Akim of Almaty, answering the questions of affected entrepreneurs during an online briefing at the site of the Regional Communications Service.
Ilyas Userov clarified that companies providing transport, forwarding and similar services, in case of theft or damage to vehicles, must apply to the territorial police department.
The speaker noted, that entrepreneurs who have already received a registration card from the police, but do not have supporting documents, should contact the district commission, which will assess the amount of damage.
“The damage is assessed by working district commissions, which include independent appraisers, audit companies, the Atameken Chamber of Entrepreneurs, etc.,” said the deputy akim.
According to him, the regional commission considers the application and makes a decision within five days. After that, a draft decision for reimbursement is developed, and the funds are transferred within three days to the current or savings account of the applicant.
According to the approved mechanism, compensation for the damage caused will be made from the funds of local executive bodies or the "Strength in Unity" Support Fund for Affected Businesses.
