Trade, public catering, markets, gas stations, industrial enterprises are operating in Almaty
As of January 12, 120 out of 149 large and medium-sized supermarkets (80.5%) operate in Almaty. During the riots, 31 objects of large retail chains were damaged (Magnum - 19, Toimart - 11, Interfood - 1). All 52 trading markets are active today. There were no affected objects among the markets.
127 out of 220 gas stations (58%) were opened. From January 13, it is planned to open an additional 33 non-network private gas stations (15%). 74 gas station facilities were damaged, 14 of them have been restored and are working.
There are 93 large trade objects in the city (shopping and entertainment center, shopping center, trading house). Since January 11, 6 shopping and entertainment centers (Globus, Sputnik, Ritz Palace, Alma-Ata, Grand Park, Almaty Mall), as well as 60 shopping centers and trading houses, have been launched. From January 12, it is planned to open 8 malls (Dostyk Plaza, Mega Park, Mega Alma-Ata, Atakent Mall, Mart, Silkway City, Alatau, ADK). 17 objects are subject to reconstruction ("Moscow", "Tsum", "Asia Park", "Almaly", "Maxima", shopping center "Asyl", shopping mall "Nur", shopping mall "Alma-Ata", shopping mall "Arena", shopping center " Domillion”, TD “12 months”, shopping center “Promenade”, shopping center “Passage”, shopping center “Megatau”, shopping center “Merey”, shopping center “Mobilka”, shopping center “City Center”). Shopping Center "Esentai Mall", "Forum" are waiting for the stabilization of the situation in the city, after which they will be open to the public.
To date, 1.5 thousand out of 3.2 thousand public catering facilities have been opened with a work schedule from 09.00 to 18.00 without the sale of alcoholic beverages until the end of the state of emergency. 39 catering facilities were damaged.
To date, 82 enterprises out of 120 are operating. Until January 19, 38 enterprises are planned to be launched.
