Road infrastructure restoration work continues in Almaty
Restoration work of technical means of traffic control is carried out by 13 brigades. 46 traffic lights were damaged. 38 have been restored, 5 of them under the temporary scheme. 120 road signs were also damaged, 96 of which have already been restored.
Restoration work on the road network has begun and is being carried out by 4 road crews. Yesterday, 90 sq. m of paving stones, 120 meters of curbs and 37 road hatches. Restoration of paving stones is planned to be completed by January 13. Two brigades started cleaning the road surface in the places of burning cars and fires.
In addition, stopping pavilions were also damaged. A total of 43 pavilions were damaged, of which 17 had completely broken windows. Private companies have also begun restoration, and 2 pavilions have been repaired to date. Work continues.
At the same time, according to preliminary estimates, about 100 bicycles have been lost, 220 require repair, and 20 stations have been damaged. Repair and restoration work has begun, work is also underway to assess the damage.
