The governor of Almaty checked the tempo of construction of transport and engineering infrastructure of the Alatau district
Over the past three years, almost 170 km of water supply and 160 km of sewage have been laid in the private sector. The construction of 94 km of water supply networks and 88 km of water disposal is being completed, which will provide more than 40 thousand residents with quality drinking water.
Earlier, residents of a number of micro-districts complained to the city governor about unashamed contractors who were laying engineering networks. In this regard, by optimizing a number of projects, Bauyrzhan Baybek ordered to allocate from the local budget an additional 4 billions tenge for the construction of new roads on more than 440 streets of the Alatau district.
If in 3 years about 15 km of pavement were built here, after the construction of the networks, residents of 13 micro-districts will receive 118 km of new roads. The area is also covered by average and current repairs. Funds were allocated to punch Sain from Ryskulov to Akin Sara with a length of 3.2 km.

“Thanks to the“ Nurly Zher ”program initiated by Elbasy, today Alatau district is being actively built up. Last year, about two thousand families found their own housing. This year it is planned to introduce the same. With an increase in the number of people, there will be problems with transportation that need to be addressed in a preventive manner. The city mobility department together with the governor need to provide Alatau district with new public transport routes, ”said Bauyrzhan Baybek.
It should be mentioned that in the Alatau district, not far from the Industrial zone, construction of a new bus depot for 200 buses on gas is being completed. A private fleet of the company “Batu travel” is being built on 130 buses. Thus, a kind of cluster of enterprises for the maintenance and maintenance of public transport of the city is laid.
During the working visit of Alatau district, Bauyrzhan Baybek checked the tempo of construction of a new mosque for seven thousand places. Within the project, implemented through private investment, it is planned to build several minarets up to 49 meters high. On the central axis of the complex will be located the main building with five domes.
Earlier, construction time was prolonged due to the need to carry out work on the engineering protection of the site from flooding. Today, 3,000 piles have been completed and the foundation has been concreted. Started work on the device reinforced frame walls of the main unit.
In general, over 10 years, more than 430 billions tenge have been invested in the development of the newly attached region. 12 schools, 5 polyclinics, 98 public and private kindergartens, a number of sports and cultural facilities were built. Within the framework of the “Universiade Heritage” project, over 1.7 thousand people on the waiting list received comfortable accommodation in the Athletic Village.
In the industrial zone of the district, 39 projects are being implemented with the involvement of Japanese, Korean, Russian, Chinese, Italian and other foreign investments. This year it is planned to launch four projects for 37.6 billions tenge.
