A kindergarten for 315 places was opened in Almaty after overhaul
During a working detour, Akim of Almaty Bakhytzhan Sagintayev examined the building of kindergarten No. 186 in the Auezov district, where seismic amplification and major repairs were carried out.
Nursery-kindergarten №186 is located in the microdistrict Aksai-4 of the Auezov district. The total area of the building is 4343 sq. m. In the kindergarten, for 315 children, seismic amplification, restoration work and major overhaul of the building were carried out.
B. Sagintayev noted that the opening of this kindergarten became possible thanks to the city program for the return of the buildings of state kindergartens, previously leased out.
It should be noted, that the construction of three state kindergartens for 360 children has been completed this year. The construction of another kindergarten for 280 children is underway, with commissioning scheduled for 2022.
In addition, 72 private kindergartens for 4658 places have been opened. The state educational order is placed in 519 private kindergartens for 30 460 places. By the end of this year, it is planned to open five more private preschool organizations for 250 places.
Currently, preschool education in the city covers 64.2% of children from 1 to 6 years old, 90.6% of children from 3 to 6 years old.
