B. Sagintayev checked the pace of construction of transport infrastructure
During a working detour, Akim of Almaty Bakhytzhan Sagintayev checked the construction progress of transport interchanges, metro stations and the extension of Abai Avenue.
During the detour, B. Sagintayev also got acquainted with the construction progress of a school for 1800 places in the microdistrict Kalkaman-2. Completion of construction is scheduled for the end of this year.
At the intersection of Ryskulov Ave. and Yemtsov st., the construction of a transport interchange is nearing completion. Preparations are underway for the arrangement of the road surface on the flyover across Ryskulov Avenue. Improvement of the adjacent territory is underway. The length of the overpass is 186 meters. Earlier, traffic on separate side ramps was opened. The interchange will increase the throughput on Ryskulov avenue up to 80 thousand cars per day, on Yemtsov street - up to 40 thousand.
In addition, the akim of Almaty got acquainted with the progress of the extension of Abai Ave., where the construction of a 3.5 km section from Momyshuly st. to the administrative center of the Nauryzbay district. There are 3 lanes for traffic in each direction. Th construction of a 400-meter overpass over Ashimov street continues. Traffic in this section will be organized according to a temporary scheme.
Akim of Almaty, B. Sagintayev, also got acquainted with the progress of construction of facilities of the second start-up complex of the metro, consisting of running tunnels and two stations "Saryarka" and "B. Momyshuly ". Construction is being completed here, equipment installation and electrical work are underway.
In addition, the akim of the megpolis, estimated the scope of work on the reconstruction of the road network along the BRT line on Zhandosov street. The length of the site from Suleimenov street to the river B. Almatinka is 1 km. Thus, the construction of the first section of the BRT line with a length of 8.7 km will be completed along Mustafin - Suleimenov - Zhandosov - Timiryazeva streets to Zheltoksan street.
