More than 10 thousand Almaty residents have switched polyclinics
The annual campaign to attach the population to polyclinics has ended in Almaty. Director of the branch of the Social Health Insurance Fund Tleukhan Abildaev announced this at a press conference of the Regional Communications Service. 79 medical organizations participated in the attachment campaign this year.
The attachment campaign is not the only opportunity to change the clinic. Kazakhstanis can attach once a year on the basis of the right of free choice, as well as when moving, reorganizing the clinic, completing its contract with the Social Health Insurance Fund, or, on the contrary, when a new clinic appears near the place of residence that has an agreement with the Social Health Insurance Fund, in the event that a citizen concludes a voluntary agreement health insurance, which covers the services of the clinic.
A little more than 10 thousand residents of the megapolis took advantage of the right to choose a medical organization, all of them submitted an application through the egov.kz electronic government portal, - T. Abildaev said.
As noted in the Social Health Insurance Fund of Kazakhstan, this year in the city of Almaty, the number of persons who participated in the attachment campaign has slightly increased compared to last year.
According to T. Abildaev, 79 medical organizations providing primary health care, of which 40 are private, took part in the attachment campaign. Of these, 5 participated for the first time, confirming their resource capabilities and competencies with the relevant documents.
This is good news that we can rejoice about, as it helps to relieve the burden on government organizations. In turn, the population has a wide choice, - said the speaker.
In addition, the increase in the number of polyclinics reduces the queues and the burden on general practitioners. To achieve this goal, measures are also being taken to open new sites.
The press conference was attended by Laura Myrzagali, Deputy Head of the Almaty City Public Health Department.
- Taking into account the workload of general practitioners as the first link providing medical care, in the period from January 1 to July 1, 2021, 15 additional sections of general practitioners in PHC organizations were opened in Almaty. In total, 989 sites have been organized in the city, - L. Myrzagali noted.
According to her, the maximum shortage of doctors in subordinate medical organizations is felt in the following specialties - anesthesiologists-resuscitators, general practitioners, pediatricians, district therapists, neuropathologists for adults and children, obstetrician-gynecologists, etc.
Today, the number of graduates of medical universities distributed in Almaty is 723 specialists, including 359 interns. Of these, 373 are employed.
About 3800 students of medical colleges completed their training in all specialties, of which 264 under a grant, their employment continues. In addition, to address this issue, a roadmap was approved for eliminating the personnel shortage for 2021-2025.
According to the data of the Republican Center for Electronic Health in the republic, more than 19.4 million people are attached to primary health care organizations; in Almaty, the number of attached population is more than 2.1 million people, including foreigners and kandasi.
