During a working detour, the Akim of Almaty Bakhytzhan Sagintayev, got acquainted with the implementation of projects to create children's play and sports zones, as well as the development of transport infrastructure.

In the Auezov district,  in the Alton Besik microdistrict, a new public space has been opened. Earlier, a student dormitory was planned to be built on Anet Baba street. After the appeal of the residents, the akim of the city Bakhytzhan Sagintayev decided to build a sports area and playgrounds here, as well as a kindergarten. This is exactly what the townspeople living here asked for.

Now, on the site of a wasteland, on an area of ​​5 thousand square meters, a football and basketball fields, a sports ground with treadmills, a play area for kids have been built. The territory has been landscaped, illuminated, trash cans and benches have been installed, shrubs and trees have been planted. A kindergarten for 120 children will be built nearby, according to the project which was reviewed by the city akim.

B. Sagintayev also examined the progress of the improvement and creation of public space on Labor street in the microdistrict Altyn besik. There was also an abandoned field with an area of ​​9 thousand square meters. On behalf of the akim of Almaty, it was cleaned, a sports ground with exercise equipment, tennis tables, a workout zone was organized. There are also football and basketball fields, a skate court, and a children's play area. Lighting and video surveillance have been installed.

Sagintayev, got acquainted with the project of reconstruction of the park in the microdistrict Aksai-2, examined the sports ground built within the framework of the PPP at school No. 42, assessed the results of the improvement of the bridge space along the embankment of the B. Almatinka river - Al-Farabi ave. In addition, the project of expanding st. Tole bi from st. Yassaui to the city border with a length of 4.5 km.
