B. Sagintayev: The participation of Almaty residents in landscaping will form respect for the green fund of the city
The campaign for the free distribution of seedlings is carried out with the aim of involving the townspeople in landscaping the courtyards of apartment buildings and common areas. This was announced by the akim of the metropolis, Bakhytzhan Sagintayev, during the live broadcast of the program Akimat LIVE on the TV Channel "Almaty".
Today in the md. Mayak of the Turksib district, 280 seedlings of deciduous trees were planted. Preparations for planting more than 8 thousand trees have begun by the VOAD and the Sosnovy Bor.
Seedlings of ash, maple, elm, poplar, acacia, catalpa and birch will be issued. Applications will be accepted from October 18th to October 31 of this year. The delivery of seedlings will be carried out in the akimats of the districts. During the first two days of the "Green City" campaign, Almaty residents left applications for 500 seedlings.
Landing is scheduled for November 1-15. After planting, it is necessary to send a photo report of the planted seedlings.
In general, it is planned to plant about 350 thousand trees in 2021, of which 64 594 were planted in spring. In the autumn, more than 285 thousand seedlings are planned to be planted.
Particular attention is paid to the greening of new micro-districts of the city. Most of the trees will be planted in the Alatau, Nauryzbay districts.
