More than school 70 football fields are being modernized in Almaty

 

On his Instagram account, akim of Almaty B. Sagintayev, announced the active involvement of children in physical education and mass sports.

 

“For this, in addition to the citywide sports infrastructure, we are developing the potential of school sports zones. Last academic year 2020-2021, 4 school sports grounds were modernized under PPP. By the end of this year, we will complete the modernization of sports facilities at 61 schools, where there are 73 football, 63 volleyball and basketball fields, as well as workout zones and treadmills, ”wrote B. Sagintayev, stressing that the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State on the development mass sports will continue.

 

As it was reported earlier, 301,171 pupils went to schools in Almaty in the new academic year. There are 280,458 children and adolescents in public schools, and 20,713 in private schools.

 

 The number of first-graders in public schools has increased by almost 3,000. There are 30,751 students in grades 1.
