Development of the Turksib district: new roads, parks, water supply
Akim of Almaty, Bakhytzhan Sagintayev, during a working detour checked the quality and progress of the construction of roads, water supply networks and landscaping of new neighborhoods.
In micro district Nurshashkan, the construction of 28.8 km of water supply networks and 18.6 km of water disposal is nearing completion. The centralized system will provide 821 houses, the number of residents - 3.5 thousand people. B. Sagintayev instructed to speed up the connection of subscribers and the restoration of roads. Out of 43 streets with a total length of 16.6 km, 37 have been asphalted. The road surface restoration is planned to be completed by the end of September.
To provide residents of the microdistrict with access to high-speed Internet, a private company has laid a fiber-optic link. Today, 245 houses already use Internet and TV services. For socially vulnerable and large families, preferential access is provided at a cost of 500 tenge per month. By the end of the year, the project will be implemented in the Mayak and Almerek microdistricts. In addition, the company will provide services for residents of other remote areas of the city.
Microdistrict Almerek is home to over 5.5 thousand people. There are 1113 houses here. At the first stage, 819 houses will be connected to the new networks. On the second, the implementation of which is scheduled for next year, the rest of the houses will be connected. Out of 51 streets, 25 were asphalted with a total length of 17.2 km. Work on 26 streets continues.
In microdistrict Kairat, there are 1292 houses, where more than 5.5 thousand people reside. The connection to new water supply networks is being completed. The restoration and construction of roads continues. 43 streets with a length of more than 20 km have been asphalted, work continues on 21 streets.
B. Sagintayev also got acquainted with the progress of construction of a residential complex under the Nurly Zher program in microdistrict Kairat. The complex consists of 35 houses with 2062 apartments. Thousands of those in need will be provided with affordable housing, including large families, socially vulnerable groups of the population, and working youth. On behalf of the city akim, premises for social and domestic facilities will be provided.
The akim of the metropolis was also presented a plan for the construction of engineering networks on Zakarpatskoi street, where there are 70 houses, which are home to 290 people. It is necessary to build 4.5 km of water supply and 1 km of sewerage.
B. Sagintayev visited the park area in the microdistrict. The lighthouse, where the II stage of improvement continues. The project provides for the construction of playgrounds, gymnastics and workout areas, as well as the arrangement of recreation areas, landscaping and lighting.
Another new park zone of the Turksib district is being built on the embankment of the Zharbulak river at the intersection of Bukhtarminskaya - Mailin streets. The project provides for the organization of a park zone "Aspan" with a total area of 6.5 hectares. Street furniture, benches, playgrounds and sports grounds, dry closets, litter bins will be installed. The green fund of the park will be put in order.
At the intersection of Kassina and Kotelnikova streets, it is planned to demolish 30 dilapidated houses under the renovation program. On this site, 27 five-storey buildings with 820 apartments will be built. The first two houses are slated for commissioning this fall. B. Sagintayev drew attention to the timing and quality of construction. As you know, renovation is being carried out in old districts in order to improve the quality of life of the townspeople and renew the housing stock of the metropolis.
The akim of Almaty got acquainted with the progress of construction of a retaining wall made of gabion structures on Kostroma street, with a project for the reconstruction of a building for a children's rehabilitation center. Also, the akim of the city visited the building of the Unified Dispatch Service, where major repairs are underway.
