B. Sagintayev checked the pace of the construction of the metro and main roads in Almaty
During a working detour, akim of Almaty Bakhytzhan Sagintayev inspected the pace of construction of two metro stations, engineering networks, connecting Abai Avenue and Alatau Street in the Nauryzbay district.
The akim of Almaty got acquainted with the projects for the construction of children's playgrounds, sports and workout grounds, the projects of which were selected by residents of the Kalkaman and Kuramys microdistricts within the framework of the Participation Budget project. B. Sagintayev also inspected the pedestrian zone under construction on Zhandosov street in the Akzhar microdistrict.
During the visit to the metro stations under construction, the city akim was informed about the situation with the supply of equipment, construction and finishing works. The readiness of the Saryarka and Dostyk stations is over 80%. B. Sagintayev instructed to tighten control over compliance with the deadlines for the construction of the subway and drew attention to the need to mobilize additional labor.
At another metro facility - Kalkaman station - the foundation pit for the assembly-panel chamber has been prepared and preparations are underway for the start of tunneling for the third launch complex. Akim of the megapolis B. Sagintayev instructed to accelerate the completion of work on this section, where the roadbed of Abai Avenue will be laid, the connection of which is carried out from Yassaui street to the administrative center of the Nauryzbay district.
Work on connecing one of the main arteries of Almaty, Abai avenue, has been completed by 70%. B. Sagintayev set the task to open traffic on the avenue by the end of this year. It connects to Alatau street, which is extended to Raiymbek Ave. Currently, on Alatau street, the top layer of asphalt is being laid, sidewalks and bicycle paths, outdoor lighting and landscaping are being arranged. The facility is about 80% ready. Completion is planned in the fall.
In md. Shugyla, the akim of the city examined the construction progress of the residential complex "Alma City". Within the framework of the Nurly Zher State Program, 128 houses with 3788 apartments will be built here. They will be distributed among socially vulnerable groups of the population and mothers with many children. In addition, rental housing for working youth and credit housing will be presented. B. Sagintayev drew the developer's attention to the quality of housing and the design of facades, which must meet the requirements of a modern city.
The akim of the city was also presented with a preliminary plan for the development of this part of the city. An integrated approach provides for the construction of three schools with 1200 places each, as well as premises for a kindergarten and a shopping and entertainment center. B. Sagintayev instructed to determine places for park zones and squares where residents can spend their free time.
In the Nauryzbay district, the reconstruction of Kunaev street on the site from Yassaui street to Ashimova street. This section is carried out from the city along Zhandosov street. The reconstruction will eliminate the bottleneck - a four-lane road with sidewalks and bike paths is being built. It is planned to be opened for traffic in the fall.
B. Sagintayev once again checked the progress of construction of engineering networks in Tausamaly, Akzhar, Kuramys and restoration of roads in the Tastybulak microdistrict. Residents of the latter expressed their gratitude for the timely response to appeals regarding the quality of the work carried out. The akim of the city called on local residents to be active and to warn him in the case of poor-quality work by contractors.
In addition, B. Sagintayev checked the progress of the construction of a water treatment plant on the Kargaly river. As the project contractor reported, all the necessary equipment has been purchased, and the facility is planned to be commissioned by the end of the year.
In general, 122 km of water supply and 85 km of sewage networks are being built in the microdistricts of Akzhar, Shugyla, Tastybulak, Tauzholy, Zhailau, Kargaly, Kuramys. After the final completion of the work, including the construction of the Kargaly filtering station, 70 thousand residents of the district will be provided with clean drinking water.
