Answering the questions of the townspeople on air of the Akimat LIVE program on the TV channel "Almaty", the akim of the metropolis Bakhytzhan Sagintayev spoke about a new opportunity for obtaining a demanded specialty and employment in the IT sector.
 
A fourth year student of a technical university asked B. Sagintayev about the possibility of internship and employment, to which the city akim announced about the start of a free training program.
 
“As for further support measures, you asked this question just in time. Starting from tomorrow, July 15, we are launching a pilot project based on the author's training and internship program at Home Credit Bank for young IT specialists, ”B. Sagintayev said.
 
Together with Home Credit University, every talented person is given the opportunity to move to a new level. As part of the course, you will be trained in the use of databases ORACLE (PL SQL), Power BI and other popular tools in the direction of "Business Analytics".
 
The testing period is from July 15 to August 15 of the current year. The training format is online. Students of 3-4 courses of economic and technical specialties can participate in the program. To participate, you must fill out a form on the website of the Common Communication Space (https://ekp.digital-almaty.kz/); pass online testing and start training.
 
Each student of the course will receive a Home Credit University certificate, and those with the best results in the exams will become part of the large Home Credit Bank family as interns and staff members.
 
Also, since September of this year, the akim of Almaty officially launches the full functioning of the Unified Communication Space, into which the best universities are integrated - KBTU, SDU, KIMEP, KazNU named after al-Farabi, ATU, Alma University, Satpayev University, MUIT.
 
The plans for several years to build an ecosystem to attract IT talent, which will allow to nurture competent and adapted specialists at the city level. Also, the task of increasing human resources is being solved through direct communication between business and the educational cluster.
