B. Sagintayev got acquainted with the progress of the construction of roads and social facilities of the Medeu district
During a working detour, the akim of Almaty Bakhytzhan Sagintayev visited the microdistricts of Duman, Alatau and Kolsai, where, in accordance with the appeals of the townspeople, the construction of roads, sports facilities and engineering communications is underway.
B. Sagintayev also got acquainted with the pace of work on the construction of engineering networks of water supply and sewerage with a total length of 15.1 km, in the microdistrict Kolsay. To date, 14.5 km of networks have been laid. After completion, it is planned to restore the roadway. At the end of the working detour, the akim of the city examined the progress of the current repair of the facades of 22 nine-storey buildings on Al-Farabi avenue from Mendikulov street to Dostyk avenue.
One of the large-scale improvement projects implemented in the Medeu district is the reconstruction of the water protection strip and the channel of the Esentai River from the water divider to Zhamakaev stree. The akim of the city examined the areas where the banks are being repaired and strengthened, as well as the widening and deepening of the river bed.
The pedestrian path will be combined, in some sections with asphalt, on others - with wood. B. Sagintayev instructed to organize convenient stepless passages in order to make them as convenient as possible for residents.
Along the pedestrian zone with a total length of 4.2 km, 350 outdoor lighting poles and small architectural forms will be installed, including trash cans, benches, children's playgrounds, pedestrian bridges and observation decks. The installation of sanitary and hygienic units is also provided. On behalf of the city akim, the pedestrian zone, which will become the new Terrenkur, will be opened for walks in stages, as the improvement works are completed.
Major repairs of roads are underway in the Duman microdistrict. To date, the asphalting of 14 streets with a length of 5.2 km has been completed. 39 streets with a length of 22.2 km are to be asphalted. After examining the progress of work, B. Sagintayev instructed to complete work on the central streets of the Duman microdistrict in the near future and continue on to the peripheral.
The akim of the city also got acquainted with the current landslide situation on Tairov street, whose residents turned to B. Sagintayev during a live broadcast of the Akimat LIVE program on the TV channel Almaty. On the instructions of the akim, the strengthening of the slope will begin in the near future. The task was set to ensure the safety of residents of 72 houses located along Tairov street.
The akim of Almaty paid special attention to the development of microdistrict Alatau, located next to the eponymous FEZ PIT. First of all, on behalf of B. Sagintayev, an examination of the hospital building, which requires major repairs, will be carried out. More than 10 thousand residents of the microdistrict are served here.
The akim of the city also got acquainted with the progress of the overhaul of the building of school №7, designed for 1200 students. On his instructions, the school must be ready for the new academic year. In addition, by the end of the year, it is planned to commission a sports complex for 150 visits per shift.
While visiting the Veterans Alley, where the improvement is being carried out within the framework of the Participation Budget, local residents asked the akim to build a skate park for teenagers. On behalf of B. Sagintayev, this issue will be studied.
In addition, at the request of residents, the akim of the city got acquainted with the current state of the park of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, the territory of which is privately owned. The owner of the site intends to develop and present a project for the improvement of the park.
