Monuments of Shamshy Kaldayakov and Baluan Sholak will be installed in Almaty

Thus, a bronze monument to the National Artist of Kazakhstan Shamshy Kaldayakov will be built in the square between the Palace of the Republic and the Hotel Kazakhstan by the end of the year. In turn, a sculpture in honor of the famous Kazakh wrestler will appear this fall on Abay Avenue in front of the Baluan Sholak Sports Palace. In order to perpetuate the characters of Kazakh folklore, it is also planned to install a bronze composition dedicated to the symbol of eternal love - Tolegen and Kyz Zhibek.

On the same day, Bauyrzhan Baybek had a visit in front of the Central State Museum a unique exhibition dedicated to the rich and original culture of the early nomads. The basis of the composition is a geoglyph - a geometric figured pattern, along the main lines of which fragments of rocks were placed with engravings of petroglyphs depicting totem animals in the Sak animal style. The authors of the project are famous Kazakhstani artists Sanjar and Zhanel Zhubanov.

“When creating engravings, fragments of rocks with a patina, which arose from exposure to the sun over many thousands of years, were used. Now every Almaty citizen and guest of the city will be able to see the works of our ancestors, who expressed themselves, their feelings on the stone, sending essentially messages to future generations. On the other hand, it will also rise the interest in going out of town and see the originals, ”Sanzhar Zhubanov shared.

After reviewing the exhibition, the city governor instructed to landscaping the area in front of the museum with the creation of a dry fountain, install outdoor furniture and relevant information signs, plant steppe tulips instead of a lawn, etc.
