R. Alshanov: The city of Nur-Sultan is an achievement of the whole nation
Rakhman Alshanov, Chairman of the Public Council of Almaty, academician, professor, rector of the Turan University, congratulated Kazakhstanis on the Day of the Capital.
“The construction of a new capital of an independent state has become a challenge for all Kazakhstanis. The capital is a vivid material example of the fact that Kazakhstan is striving for the first ranks of the developed countries of the world. And together we can do it. Nur-Sultan is an achievement of all our people. It should be emphasized that Almaty residents were among the first who landed in the new capital and made their contribution to its formation. Architects and builders, teachers and doctors, all strived to do something useful for its development. Almaty remains the largest donor to the republican budget. And Nur-Sultan is already contributing to the replenishment of the treasury. I am sure the city has a good perspective, it will lead us to great achievements, great deeds, ”said the chairman of the Public Council R. Alshanov.
R. Alshanov spoke about his love for the brainchild of Elbasy - the First President N. Nazarbayev, to the city of Nur-Sultan and called the capital an achievement of the whole people.
“The whole world knows Kazakhstan. We have something to be proud of, young people should know the history. Near the capital, archaeologists are excavating the ancient city of Bozok, this is a small settlement. Our people have made a giant leap from it to the modern capital, ”he emphasizes.
