The Ashyq project helps minimize the risks of the coronavirus infection among Almaty residents

According to the Deputy Director for Legal Affairs of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Almaty Saltanat Lesbaeva, due to the tightening of the established restrictions in the megapolis, the number of entrepreneurs wishing to work within the framework of the Ashyq project has increased.

The leaders in identifying Almaty residents with "red" and "yellow" statuses are the railway stations and the airport. Saltanat Lesbaeva said that the Almaty railway stations have been included in the project since June 21, however, in a short period of time, Ashyq has been successfully working to prevent the spread of COVID at these facilities.

“On the first day at the Almaty-2 railway station, scanning revealed a passenger who was going to leave for another city. Her trip was going to take several days. Imagine how many people she could have infected. She had a "red" status. She violated the self-isolation regime, ”S. Lesbaeva noted.

It should be noted that to date, already 8 residents of Almaty have been brought to administrative responsibility for such violations.

According to the speaker, in connection with the tightening of the established restrictions in Almaty, there are more people wishing to work within the framework of the project. 10 more entrepreneurs have submitted applications today. Mainly, on Ashyq there are catering, fitness centers, computer clubs, saunas and cinemas. There are 2,332 participants in total. 148 business entities are working in test mode.

S. Lesbaeva said that at present, together with the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control and developers, the issue of expanding the list of project participants is being considered. Perhaps, soon shopping and entertainment centers, trading houses, non-food markets and canteens, which are not yet in the project, will be able to work with concessions.

Along with the Ashyq application, you can check your status using the Aitu, Egov mobile and two banks, Kaspi and Halyk Bank. This is done for the convenience of citizens. It is enough to enter your IIN to find out the status.

“This is done to minimize the risks of contamination of the population. If project participants do not comply with their obligations, they are excluded and deprived of the opportunity to work with preferences for up to two months. In Almaty, 39 participants were excluded from the Ashyq project, who did not scan visitors and their staff, ”Saltanat Lesbaeva said.

The opinion that the Ashyq application mainly detects "blue" statuses from users is erroneous. Thus, when scanning in Almaty, the “red” status was confirmed in 670, and “yellow” in 178 people.
