B. Sagintayev: Anti-crisis measures have preserved the stability of the Almaty economy

The short-term economic indicator for 5 months amounted to 107.8% (in the Republic of Kazakhstan - 102%). In industry, growth was ensured by 19.7% (share in GRP - 5.4%; January-April of this year - 119.5%), construction increased by 24.7% (2.7%; 132.9% ), communication services - by 13.4% (6%; 112.9%), trade - plus 4.7% (32.9%; 104.2%).
 
The volume of commissioned housing increased by 13.3%, more than 570 thousand square meters of housing (572.4 thousand square meters) were built.
 
Fixed capital investments amounted to 355.4 billion tenge with an increase of 32.7%. Collected taxes in the amount of 1.1 trillion tenge. Plus 27.8%. In total, the Republican budget received 791 billion tenge (+ 26.8%), the local budget - 349.3 billion tenge (+ 30%).
 

In Almaty, inflation in May since the beginning of the year amounted to 3.4%, which is lower than the level of the republic (RK - 3.5%). For food products, inflation in the city is at the republican level - 104.9%, for non-food products - 103.2% (RK - 103.1%), for paid services - 101.6% (RK - 102.1%).
