B. Sagintaev: A special microclimate is being created on Terrenkur
Akim of Almaty Bakhytzhan Sagintayev, during a working detour, visited the pedestrian zone along the Malaya Almatinka River, where landscaping is underway.
On his Instagram account, B. Sagintayev spoke about the main changes to the path.
“Terrenkur is gradually changing. The project for the improvement of the walking trail with a length of about 9 km is being completed. What has been done? First, the green fund was improved by planting almost 5 thousand units of shrub plants. They strengthen the slopes and prevent the shores from crumbling. Naturally, the green mass maintains a special microclimate that contributes to the recovery of the body. That is why terrainkurs were built for medicinal purposes, ”the akim of Almaty wrote.
According to him, secondly, the channel was put in order, clearing it of silt and sand. The gabion structures were strengthened and restored. Reconstructed the bridge on the street Makatayev, renovated hydraulic structures. This made it possible to increase the throughput of the Malaya Almatinka River from 0.5 cubic meters, up to 2.5 cubic meters per minute. Where possible, the track was expanded from two to three and a half meters, replacing the asphalt pavement.
“For the convenience of the townspeople, we have updated and added new benches, installed navigation stands and information boards indicating the height above sea level. The tunnel under Al-Farabi avenue was also improved, and an observation deck was installed behind the building of the Schoolchildren's Palace. Everything is done with the use of wood in order to preserve the harmony and integrity of the space, "said B. Sagintayev.
The improvement work is coming to an end. What remains is connecting sanitary facilities, installing playgrounds and improving individual areas.
