Improvement of territories and development of social infrastructure continues in the Turksib district
Akim of Almaty Bakhytzhan Sagintayev got acquainted with the pace of construction of social facilities, roads, development of SMEs and improvement of public spaces in the Turksib district during a working detour.
 
 
At 50 Seifullin Avenue, a school for 590 children is being built for private investment. The general education institution, being built according to modern standards, will be ready for the new academic year. Nearby, there is a cinema "Shugyla", the owner of which acquainted the akim of the metropolis with the project of reconstruction and improvement of the territory. B. Sagintayev drew attention to the fact that a new point of attraction for the residents of the region could be created here.
 
The akim of the city checked the progress of construction of a new building of school №170, designed for 300 places. The existing building is planned to be renovated. Taking into account the private and city schools under construction, the shortage of student places in the Turksib district will be significantly reduced next year. But on behalf of B. Sagintayev, it is necessary to develop projects for new educational institutions, taking into account the growth of the population.
 
The city's businessmen are also involved in the development of the sports infrastructure. In md. Zhuldyz-1 a multifunctional sports complex with martial arts, gymnastics, gym and group fitness zones, as well as a 25-meter swimming pool is being built. B. Sagintayev got acquainted with the plans for the expansion of the complex and drew attention to the need to build such compact health and recreation centers in remote microdistricts.
 
After visiting the new leisure center "Zhuldyz", the akim of the city instructed to scale a similar project in other districts. The work is carried out on sports, cultural and educational development. About 100 children attend table tennis, chess and checkers, "togyz kumalak", fine arts, wrestling, dance and music clubs.
 
One of the important tasks assigned to the district akims is the development of SMEs and the creation of jobs. B. Sagintayev visited the "Inter multi service" corrugated cardboard factory. Here, preparations are underway for the full launch of a new cardboard production line. The production capacity is about 2.3 thousand tons of products per year. It employs 140 people, after the launch of the new production line, 30 new jobs will be created.
 
At the pharmaceutical plant VIVA Pharm, akim of Almaty B. Sagintayev was introduced to the production cycle and the range of manufactured drugs. The plant has created 157 jobs. According to the results of last year, the volume of production amounted to about 2 million packages of 48 types of drugs. The export of products to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan has been established, and it is planned to enter the Russian market. An investment project for the construction of a new plant for the production of medicines on the territory of the FEZ PIT "Alatau" is expected to be implemented.
 
B. Sagintayev checked the quality and pace of road construction in the microdistrict Kairat. On 78 streets of the microdistrict, engineering networks of water supply and sewerage were laid. Preparation and asphalting of streets is underway.
 
The akim of the metropolis also got acquainted with the projects for the improvement of public spaces of the district. Behind school No. 32, within the framework of the Participation Budget project, preparations have begun for the construction of a playground, football field, streetball and workout grounds. Outdoor lighting, trash cans, benches will be installed here. The territory will be landscaped.
 
Also, according to the "Participation Budget", construction of a sports ground has begun on the site of an abandoned wasteland on the street. Aisha Bibi, 357. There will be a playground for children with disabilities, a jogging track, a football field, a workout area. The territory will be gardened and landscaped.
 

In microdistrict Altai-1, construction of a through pedestrian zone will begin, which will connect several courtyards. The project includes playgrounds for citizens' leisure, playgrounds for children and sports grounds, installation of outdoor lighting lines, sidewalk paths and landscaping.
