Almaty residents simultaneously sang the national anthem at different locations and decorated the high-rise buildings with flags
On June 4, Kazakhstan celebrates the Day of State Symbols. Local executive bodies have prepared thoroughly for the holiday in Almaty. Today, with the participation of volunteers from the regional youth resource centers, the anthem was performed in the metro, in shopping and entertainment centers, Medeo, Shymbulak and sports grounds.
The inhabitants of the area of the Baikonur metro station could sing the anthem. Volunteers of the city akimat, the youth resource center of the Medeu region, with the participation of the Almaty youth policy development fund, sang the anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with passer-bys.
Volunteer Aibek Melsov spoke about the details.
“When we gathered at the metro station and had just played the first chords of the anthem, passer-bys began to approach us, someone just sang along, someone was filming with smartphones. The action definitely attracted attention, they began to ask us, we told them that today is the Day of State Symbols. That this is a special holiday for the Kazakh people, because the prosperity of any state depends on respect for symbols too, ”said Aibek Melsov.
At the same time, volunteers from the youth resource center of the Bostandyk district gathered at another location in the Mega Center shopping and entertainment center on a site near the food court. The coordinator of the event, Adil Nurpeisov, said that about 40 youth leaders of Almaty took part in the action.
“The place was not chosen by chance. The youth of the city comes to the shopping and entertainment center “Mega Center” every day. This action is aimed at their patriotic education. I think we have achieved our goal. This action did not leave any visitor indifferent, ”said Adil Nurpeisov.
Arnay Sakhymbetov, coordinator of the Youth Resource Center of the Turksib District, experienced an incredible range of emotions. He, among 70 volunteers, sang the anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the intersection of Sauranbaev - Spartak streets.
“It was atmospheric, we were accompanied by a military band, at that time a feeling of patriotism filled each of us, pride in the flag, anthem, coat of arms. We should appreciate that we have such beautiful state symbols, ”Arnay Sakhymbetov believes.
On the same day, the anthem was sung in all squares, on pedestrian streets, in metro cars, on the territory of the Medeu high-mountain complex, the Shymbulak resort, as well as in the Kok-Tobe park.
In addition, on the Day of State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty residential complexes were decorated with state flags. The patriotic idea was implemented in all districts of Almaty. Balconies of high-rise buildings No. 13, 14 in the Shugyla microdistrict, the Premiera residential complex, houses at 289 Rozybakiev Street, at 131 Al-Farabi Ave., in the microdistrict Kazakhfilm 34a, on Navoi street 37, residential complex "Navoi", in the microdistrict Aksai-5, building 25, on Sauranbaev street in several buildings and on Panfilov street 103. This action showed that the national flag for Almaty residents is not just a symbol, but something more that unites the inhabitants of the megapolis.
