Over two days, monitoring groups in Almaty identified 34 violations of quarantine measures

In the entertainment establishments of the southern capital, work hours, social distance when seating guests are still violated, workers do not wear masks. These are the results of a two-day inspection of public catering and computer clubs in Almaty. All collected materials were transferred to the district departments of sanitary and epidemiological control. For all the facts, administrative penalties will be taken.

The Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the city of Almaty calculated, that since the beginning of the year, monitoring groups have checked more than 22,600 objects, in 2,176 of them various violations of quarantine have been identified.

According to Sadvakas Baigabulov, deputy head of the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control in Almaty (DSEC), the situation in the city related to the coronavirus is still intense. In this regard, mobile groups, which include employees of akimats, police officers, representatives of the Atameken Chamber of Entrepreneurs and volunteers, continue preventive work on their observance of quarantine restrictions by small and medium-sized businesses, by residents and guests of the capital. Particular attention is paid to facilities that violate epidemiological requirements: entertainment establishments, cafes, restaurants, karaoke, bars, shopping centers. In particular, business entities working in the framework of the Ashyq project are being checked.

“This year, materials have been sent to specialized interdistrict administrative courts against 74 persistent violators of quarantine; decisions have already been made in 53 cases. In 37 cases, the administration of the establishments were brought to administrative responsibility with the suspension of the activities of the facilities, ”said Sadvakas Baigabulov.

According to the sanitary doctors, on May 25, 25 violations of quarantine measures were detected, preventive conversations were held in only 4 cases, and materials for more stringent measures were collected in the rest.

For example, on that day a participant of the Ashyq project - the computer club “Seven Cyber Sport” of the Almaly district, violated working hours. And the functioning of another computer club "Nyuk" in the Auezov district was completely banned, since this object is not a member of the Ashyq mobile project. A similar violation was found in the computer club "Tema".

On the same day, violations of the operating mode were revealed in the "Calliano" lounge bar in the Bostandyk district, as well as in a number of grocery stores where cashiers served visitors without masks.

The next day, May 26, monitoring groups in Almaty identified 9 violations of quarantine measures.
For example, in the "Chechel Pub" cafe of the Almaly district, which is allowed to work under the Ashyq project, the inspectors recorded an excess number of visitors. There were much more of them than seats in the hall.
The list of violations revealed includes absence of wearing masks by the staff in the "Vostochny Kvartal" cafe, the "Mango Sushi" restaurant, and the "Veselidze" cafe.
The opening hours were disrupted in the "Versailles" restaurant in the Bostandyk district, in the "Dreams" lounge bar and in the "Barmaglot" bar, which was attended by about 40 visitors.

S. Baigabulov, Deputy Head of DSEC in Almaty, noted that today there are 17 registered SMEs working on Ashyq, however, with violations of restrictive measures.

“It is necessary to take a responsible approach to this process, the application gives the right to work with indulgences, but it is necessary to continue to comply with quarantine measures,” S. Baigabulov emphasized.

The Akimat of Almaty reported that work to identify violations of quarantine will continue. The population needs to take the quarantine regime seriously: avoid crowded places, do not ignore the mask regime and social distancing.
