Control over the quality of construction work has been strengthened in Almaty
Contractors are deprived of state licenses for violations of rules and regulations during the construction of buildings and roads. Olzhas Tulebaev, Deputy Head of the Urban Planning Control Department of the city of Almaty, spoke about the work to identify and suppress violations.
According to O. Tulebaev, there are currently 664 construction projects in the city, including 202 budgetary and 462 commercial.
In the course of inspections by employees of urban planning control this year, 1,112 violations were revealed, including non-compliance with quality and technology, deviation from design solutions - 208, poor quality organization of work - 854 and illegal construction - 50.
“In relation to violators, 1,078 protocols were drawn up for a total of 207.8 million tenge, 183 instructions were issued to eliminate violations, and materials were sent to court for 103 objects that did not eliminate the comments,” O. Tulebaev said.
“We often find violations in the organization of construction production. For example, when installing fences, pedestrian ladders, when storing building materials, as well as when drawing up executive technical documentation at the facility, violations of concrete work technology, backfilling, laying asphalt concrete pavements, deviations from design solutions, ”says a representative of the department.
