Its work will make it possible to satisfy the demand for electricity of residents of the southern part of the city. * The substation will be connected to the new residential complexes under construction in the square of Al-Farabi ave. - Zharokova st. - Utepova st. - Rozybakiev st. Thus, more than 200 thousand consumers living in microdistrict Almagul, residential complexes GagarinPark, 4YOU, Comfort, as well as 11 educational facilities for 5685 places will be provided with uninterrupted power supply. In addition, the power reserve after connecting all consumers will be about 30-40%.
At the construction site of the "Kaskad" substation, the akim of Almaty B. Sagintayev was informed that the new substation, after commissioning at the end of this year, will reduce the number of emergency outages by 5%. The increase in capacity will be 64 MW.
The goal of the project is to cover the loads of the city's consumers with the delivery of the capacity of the Cascade HPP to the 110 kV network to eliminate the problems of the existing state with the power supply of the growing city. The projected power grid facilities are part of the phased elimination of 35 kV networks and replacement with more powerful ones.
The substation will provide uninterrupted power supply to 250 thousand consumers of facilities under construction and commissioned in the annexed territories, including the microdistricts of Alatau, Nurlytau, Ermensai, Zhailau. Project readiness - 65%.
The akim of Almaty B. Sagintayev, also got acquainted with the progress of reconstruction of the bridge over the Kargaly river on Tazhiev Street and a water intake structure and a water treatment station to provide drinking water to residents of the Nauryzbay region.
The project for the construction of a water intake structure and a water treatment station includes the elimination of the consequences of a mudflow in July 2015, as well as the restoration and repair of destroyed structures. After commissioning at the end of the year, about 50 thousand of the Nauryzbay region will be provided with high-quality drinking water.
