In general, by the end of 2021, the shortage of student places is planned to be reduced by 73%, or by 22.6 thousand student places in the city. This year, at the expense of the budget in Almaty, 8 schools for 12.6 thousand places are being built in the Alatau, Nauryzbay and Turksib districts. The construction of 17 outbuildings to schools for 8.2 thousand places is underway. Investors are also attracted to improve the learning environment. Already this year, 6 private schools for 1700 places will be opened.
In addition, in the district, at the expense of private investments, a multifunctional sports complex is being built in the microdistrict Zhuldyz-1. A sports swimming pool, a martial arts hall, a gymnastics hall, a dance and gym hall and a fitness program hall are planned to be arranged. The length of the flyover along the Kuldzhinsky tract will be 784 m, and the tunnel along Bukhtarminskaya street - 570 m. During the improvement of the adjacent territory, 750 trees will be planted.

To date, the concreting of 110 m of the overpass has been completed, preparations are underway for pouring the next 84 m. The construction of 100 out of 150 m of the tunnel has also been completed.
Comprehensive work is underway to develop infrastructure in the adjacent microdistricts. Microdistricts Nurshashkan, Kairat and Almerek are completing the construction of water supply and sewerage networks. In the next two months, residents will be connected to them. At the same time, repair and construction of roads has begun in these microdistricts. The streets are almost 100% provided with outdoor lighting. Work is also underway to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
In mcirodistrict Kairat, the construction of the Tuzdybastau substation is underway. After commissioning, scheduled for next autumn, the electricity demand of about 200 thousand residents of the microdistrict will be provided. In Almerek, Nurshashkan, Kairat, where about 15 thousand people live, as well as microdistrict Duman of the Medeu district.
A capacity reserve will also be created for residential and commercial facilities under construction and planned for construction, including social infrastructure facilities planned for construction along the Kuldzhinsky tract and the new airport terminal.

In microdistrict Kairat, the akim of Almaty B. Sagintayev, got acquainted with the progress of construction of apartment buildings under the "Nurly Zher" program. The complex consists of 35 houses with 2,062 apartments with a total area of 166,127 thousand square meters.
The housing being built will provide affordable apartments for thousands of those in need. In particular, 1,451 apartments will be allocated for rental housing without the right to purchase. At the same time, 185 apartments are intended for large families, 216 - for socially vulnerable segments of the population, 1050 - for working youth.
In addition, 611 apartments will be distributed through loan housing for those on the waiting list. Completion of construction and installation works is planned for the end of the year.
On behalf of the akim of the city, during construction, it is necessary to provide premises for objects of social and domestic services.
In the Turksib district, housing construction is actively developing in the new microdistricts of Kairat and Zhas Kanat. Both multi-apartment residential complexes and private housing construction are being built. In connection with the growth of the population, it is necessary to provide these microdistricts with social infrastructure. B. Sagintayev keeps the solution of this issue under constant control. Next to the Youth residential complex in the microdistrict Kairat, a school for 1500 places is under construction. It is planned to be completed by the end of the year. The new school will practically solve the problem of the shortage of student places in the Turksib district, where today, there is a deficiency of about 1700 places. Currently, there are 29 schools in the district, including 27 public and 2 private. The number of students makes up 32,442 people.
Along with the new school, by the end of the year, an extension to school No. 170 for 300 places on 31 Magnetic Street; and a private general education school for 590 pupils on Seifullin ave, are planned to be commissioned. Thus, the shortage of student places in the district will be significantly reduced. Earlier, some residents of microdistrict Kairat had to take their children to school in other parts of the city.
As you know, due to the high birth rate and migration processes, there is a shortage of student places in the city, including in the outskirts, where no educational institutions have been built before. In order to provide high-quality and affordable education throughout the city, be it the center or the outskirts, a program for the forced construction of schools has been adopted. This is one of the main priorities of the Comprehensive Development Program "New Almaty".
In addition, close to the Youth residential complex in the Kairat microdistrict, a kindergarten and a polyclinic, which corresponds to the integrated development of new micro-districts is planned to be built.

On the territory of the sports and recreation center, being built at the expense of budgetary funds, there will be a universal gym, a 6-lane pool, a children's pool, a gym and a strength training hall with elements of wrestling.
