The Akimat of Almaty discussed the end of the heating season: residents of the megapolis were provided heating for 198 days
In Almaty, the heating season ended on April 13, its duration was 198 days, which exceeds the standard indicators. This was announced during an online briefing by the head of the Department of Energy Efficiency and Infrastructure Development of the city of Almaty, Aydar Berkimbaev.
According to the speaker, the heating season of 2020-2021 in the city of Almaty, taking into account the temperature regime, was started on September 28, 2020 and generally passed as usual.
“All life support and social facilities, 100% connected to heating, worked stably. There were no restrictions on consumers due to emergency violations. Energy sources were provided with standard and emergency fuel supplies, autonomous boiler houses operated in a normal mode. Fuel supplies were carried out in accordance with the submitted applications, ”said Aydar Berkimbaev, head of the energy efficiency and infrastructure development department of Almaty, during his speech.
Continuing the topic, the speaker spoke about the preparations already begun for the upcoming heating season 2021–2022. According to Berkimbaev, measures are taken annually to prepare energy sources, boiler houses, electric, heat, water supply, sewer networks, urban housing and communal services for reliable and stable functioning for the upcoming autumn-winter period.
It is important to inform that preparation for the upcoming heating season is under the constant control of the city akim.
