In Almaty, a theater and 5 cinemas were connected to the Ashyq project: citizens and businesses are urged to follow the rules of visiting
Thanks to a mobile application that allows cinemas to resume their work on the very first day, 5 visitors with “red” and “yellow” statuses were identified who came to the movie show. Director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the city Aytuar Koshmambetov spoke about the results and advantages of the pilot project "Ashyq" today at an online briefing of the regional communications service of Almaty.
The director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs clarified that all business representatives, before starting to work with the application, were trained, as well as conversations were held with each of them, reminders were distributed including all the necessary package of documents, how to get a code, an exclusion algorithm, how to assign a security guard mode etc.
In his speech, Aytuar Koshmambetov recalled that digital monitoring will help ensure the stability of doing business, and also said that the Ashyq project will be scaled up to all regions of the country.
The essence of the mobile program is that Almaty residents are assigned color statuses depending on whether they are sick with coronavirus or not. The status is determined through the use of a QR code and integration with a common PCR database. The ability to get or not get into spas, fitness centers, cinemas depends on the color.
The application is quite simple to use, it takes the visitor literally one minute. The user, having downloaded "Ashyq" in the playmarket, enters the IIN once and scans the QR code upon entering. In turn, when using "Ashyq", businesses are given quarantine exemptions.
“To date, 235,000 users (data provided for the Republic of Kazakhstan) use the Ashyq application. Thanks to the project, 560 visitors with a "red" status, 134 "yellow" visitors were identified at the entrance. Over the past week, the application has been downloaded by over 147,000 users. Every day, townspeople visit the facilities where they use the application; in total, about 48,000 scans have been recorded. And this is about 150 fixations per minute, during rush hours 250 fixations, - said the director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Almaty, A.Koshmambetov.
Speaking about the advantages of the application, Aytuar Koshmambetov added that since April 13, four more regions have connected to Ashyq. These are Aktobe, Taraz, Taldykorgan and the Akmola region. There are 633 participants throughout the country at the moment, of which 341 are in the city of Almaty, another 26 applications are under consideration (among the applications submitted are owners of saunas, pools, spa centers, computer clubs and baths). Moreover, the southern capital remains the leader among cities where digital technologies are used to identify potentially dangerous or infected with the coronavirus. In comparison, in the city of Nur-Sultan 123 establishments have switched to "Ashyq", in Karaganda - 77.
“Since April 17, in the city of Almaty, 5 cinemas and 1 theater have joined the project, as well as 6 cinemas and 1 theater are at the stage of receiving a QR code. On the very first day of connecting the cinemas, 5 visitors with “red” and “yellow” statuses were identified, ”said the director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
During the online briefing, Aytuar Koshmambetov spoke in detail about the connection of cinemas to the project.
“The owners of cinemas submit applications directly to the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the city of Almaty, then these objects will be checked for compliance with the requirements, it is necessary that they provide a reception area where the administrator will be located and QR codes will be posted. It is worth remembering that Almaty is still in the “red” zone in terms of the epidemiological situation, so cinemas operate according to the criteria of the “yellow” zone, that is, with a 20% occupancy rate, ”the speaker of the online briefing said.
Concerning catering facilities in the metropolis. The owners of these facilities submit applications through the RK Public Catering Association, the RK Restaurateurs' Club or the Kazakhstan Hotel and Restaurant Association.
In Almaty, 2 hotels and 27 retail outlets want to join the project.
Speaking about the advantages of the digital project, a representative of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs said that they regularly conduct preventive checks of facilities where they use the application. As practice shows, there are violations. By the way, in case of non-use of QR codes for their intended purpose and free admission of visitors without verification, the owners of establishments can be excluded from the program.
“It is possible to exclude from the project on the basis of the detection at the facility by the monitoring group of confirmed facts of violations of the requirements for participation in the project, as well as if the facility does not conduct a check-in (check) of visitors for more than 3 days,” said Aytuar Koshmambetov. - I would like to warn all the participants of the pilot project that the institution, where the current work algorithm is broken, will be able to return to the project no earlier than in 2 weeks. And in case of repeated violation, not earlier than in 2 months ”.
Aytuar Koshmambetov urged both visitors and entrepreneurs themselves to take a responsible approach to the application. Since, thanks to the project, entrepreneurs are allowed to work in less strict quarantine conditions. He also called on representatives of the business community to support the massive vaccination campaign in order to quickly return to their usual way of life and work. The director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs noted that if the collectives of enterprises or business structures want to be massively vaccinated against the coronavirus, they can contact the Chamber of Entrepreneurs at 331033.
