The city authorities of Almaty and developers will join forces to create a convenient infrastructure in the city. Construction of schools and kindergartens, according to the head of the Department of a comfortable urban environment of the city of Almaty, Sapar Nurashev, is a priority. During the online briefing of the regional communications service of Almaty, speaker S. Nurashev discussed which educational facilities had already been built and what they are planning to build.
Modern children are interested in learning in new spaces equipped with modern equipment. Therefore, the process of building new type schools in Almaty will continue.
As Sapar Nurashev noted, in 2020, the construction of 18 educational facilities was completed, thanks to which 3,817 student and 240 preschool places were created. Works on reconstruction and seismic strengthening of existing buildings have been carried out on 8 objects.
“This year, construction of 8 new schools for 12,600 pupils is underway, 17 outbuildings for 8,263 pupils, 2 new kindergartens for 400 pupils. In addition, reconstruction and seismic reinforcement will be carried out at 14 facilities. Thus, 41 objects will be under construction, repair or reconstruction, ”said the head of the Almaty akimat department.
According to the speaker, all new schools in Almaty are being built using the latest developments in the field of building educational institutions, taking into account the most modern world standards.
Sapar Nurashev considers the construction of additional education facilities to be very important. For example, as part of the implementation of the comprehensive plan "New Almaty", in 2021 in the Alatau and Nauryzbay districts, 2 centers of innovative creativity - the House of Schoolchildren is planned to be built. To date, the development of design estimates is underway.
