City activ with Almaty governor B.Sagintayev

B.Sagintayev outlined strategic challenges for further growth of Almaty and called measures to address them. In the development of Almaty, emphasis will be placed on the concept of “A city without suburbs” according to the principle formulated in the political platform of President K-J.Tokayev.

The main social needs of the population are to be resolved, such as providing jobs with decent pay, restraining the growth of prices for essential goods, preventing the rising cost of utilities, housing affordability, preserving the environment, quality of medical services, public safety.

The governor of Almaty gave a number of instructions on improvement of territories, availability of social services, development of the “economy of simple things”, social infrastructure and social entrepreneurship.

A package of instructions was developed for local executive bodies in order to increase the level of income and the quality of life of citizens.
