B. Sagintayev: A special commission will deal with the issues of the residents of New Almaty
Akim of Almaty Bakhytzhan Sagintayev, during a working detour listened to the residents of the Algabas microdistrict of the Alatau district.

On his Instagram account, the akim of the megapolis, B. Sagintayev, said that having familiarized himself with the problem areas of the Alatau district, he decided to create a working commission.
“First of all, it is necessary to resolve the issue of flooding of Aldiyar street, near school number 185 in the Algabas microdistrict. The Department of Emergency Situation Management will take urgent measures, ”wrote B. Sagintayev. In this case, the roads will be filled with inert materials before the construction of engineering networks.
In md. Algabas, 13.5 km of water supply and 17 km of sewerage networks are being laid. Additionally, networks for 1011 houses are planned to be laid, thus, the entire microdistrict will be provided with a water supply and sanitation system.
Also, the akim of Almaty instructed to resolve the issue with the construction of canals on the street. Embankment in md. Aigerim-1, which will eliminate the flooded area.
“All the issues raised by the residents, including those on abandoned networks, street lighting and ensuring public safety, are under my personal control. A working commission has been created to inform about the measures taken, ”B. Sagintayev said, noting that the initiative of active representatives of microdistricts, to organize public control over the quality of the work carried out was supported. Akims of districts were instructed to be in constant communication with them.
During his working detour, B. Sagintayev got acquainted with the construction progress of the pump station in the microdistricts Shanyrak-2 and the "14th Territory", as well as the situation with the constructed networks in the microdistrict AZTM Algabas. For this facility, measures will be taken to complete and connect residents.
