Over 450 educational institutions in Almaty will be transferred to cloud accounting. Payroll transparency will increase
In accordance with the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dated March 2, 2020, it is necessary to transfer the accounting department to a centralized cloud solution based on the SaaS model. Aydin Sailaubai, deputy head of the Almaty city education department, spoke about the work carried out in this direction at a briefing in the Republican Communication Service.
It should be noted, that when applying this solution, we are not talking about replacing people with automatic analysis systems. All participants (school director, head teacher, HR officer, accountant) receive access remotely, without being tied to a workplace or a specific computer. Jobs are not expected to reduced due to the introduction of cloud accounting, the main goal is to increase the transparency of accounting and reporting, both to departments and to higher authorities.
The Akimat of Almaty currently plans to introduce cloud-based accounting for transparent financial and economic activities in educational organizations.
For reference: 451 state educational organizations, of which:
- 189 kindergartens (17 - GU, 172 - KGKP);
- 207 schools;
- 14 boarding schools;
- 22 colleges;
- 17 out-of-school organizations;
- 2 other.
The first stage is the transfer of existing accounting to cloud accounting in 240 educational organizations (GOVERNMENT).
The second stage is the transfer of existing accounting to cloud accounting in 211 educational organizations (COMMUNAL STATE OFFICIAL ENTERPRISE).
Cloud accounting is a set of accounting programs that are located on a remote server and are designed to work over the Internet. The servers are physically located in the data centers of JSC "Kazakhtelecom". Since cloud accounting is an automated workplace for employees, the user only needs a computer and constant access to the Internet for full-fledged work.
Expected Result:
automatic verification of the correctness of filling out reports (intraform and interform checks);
elimination of consolidated indicators;
automatic consolidation of financial statements;
obtaining a decryption of the obtained consolidated indicators.
Within the framework of cloud accounting, electronic personnel accounting with integration into enbek.kz is planned to be introduced, determine the experience of teaching staff, transparency of payroll, and so on. All historical accounting data will be saved and transferred to the typical configuration.
