B. Sagintayev thanked Almaty residents for solidarity and mutual assistance
Akim of Almaty Bakhytzhan Sagintayev dedicated words of gratitude to doctors, teachers, policemen and volunteers on behalf of the townspeople.
Thanking every Almaty citizen for understanding and their support, B. Sagintayev wished Almaty residents good health, well-being and prosperity to the city.
On his Instagram account, B. Sagintaev wrote that on the first day of spring, on the Day of Gratitude, on behalf of the townspeople he would like to say “thank you”, to doctors and sanitary-epidemiologists, policemen and military men, volunteers and disinfectionists.
“Thanks to your hard work, we were able to withstand the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Despite the fact that you literally had to live at work, having lost contact with your family, you did not give up. You know and realize that the health of the whole metropolis is on the line ”, - said the akim of Almaty B. Sagintayev.
According to him, the city survived thanks to our solidarity, mutual support and helping those in need. The townspeople shared the warmth of their hearts, uplifted each other with smiles, supported each other with a kind word.
“The fight against the pandemic is not over yet. But we know that we are able to withstand the most severe trials and become even stronger, kinder and bolder, ”the akim of the city wrote.
