“800 quotas have been allocated for Almaty this year. This is the responsibility of the City Public Health Department. Next year, the Ministry of Health is planning to allocate 300-350 quotas. Funds for quotas come from the republican budget. They will be transferred through a special commission, ”the akim said.
It should be noted that the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev ordered to increase the number of quotas to 7000 in 2021. This will expand the indications for issuing quotas and significantly reduce the queue for obtaining them.
The state program "Ansagan Sabi" started in January this year. Within the framework of this program, the number of quotas for IVF has been increased 7 times - up to 7000, about 800 quotas have been allocated in Almaty. For comparison, in 2020 only 130 quotas were allocated. The decision to send women to IVF was made at a meeting of the commission created by the city Department of Public Health. Today there are more than 700 women in line.
Let us remind you, that since 2010, in Kazakhstan, you can go through the IVF procedure for free, since quotas are allocated for the IVF program.
