More than 8 thousand apartments are planned to be allocated to those on the waiting list in Almaty
The implementation of the program for providing affordable housing was disclosed during the reporting meeting of the akim of Almaty B. Sagintayev.
This year, within the framework of state and city programs, 8292 apartments will be distributed. Including 427 apartments to representatives of socially vulnerable groups of the population, large families - 452, working youth - 1050. Also, 3578 apartments will be distributed under the "Shanyrak" program, 1411 apartments for "Credit Housing", and 374 for "Baqytty otbasy". The program "Almaty Zhastary" will be continued, through which 1 thousand young Almaty residents will be able to find housing.
In 2020, 2,948 apartments were distributed in order to provide affordable housing. In addition, 1,000 young families were able to purchase their homes thanks to concessional loans under the "Almaty Zhastary" program. For the first time, on behalf of the akim of the city B. Sagintayev, working young specialists could participate in this program without being registered in the city.
At the same time, according to the "Nurly Zher" state program, 3902 apartments with a total area of 294.4 thousand square meters were commissioned, which is 2.5 times more than in 2019.
