A new polyclinic has opened in Almaty on the basis of the city’s clinical hospital №5

As the hospital's chief doctor Bolat Sadykov mentioned that in order to reduce queues and increase the comfort of patients in the clinic, they’ve stepped back from the traditional concept of the registry.

"Nowadays specially trained managers equipped with radio set will meet, advise and accompany the visitors. Now our specialists work with the most modern European equipments. For example, the best one of it has set up in the otolaryngologist office.In general, the cost of building construction with the equipment installation was 1.5 billion tenge", - said B. Sadykov.

The new 4-storey building has a family health center, the children's health center, a surdologic and a rehabilitation center, a physiodiagnostic department, and a clinical -diagnostic centralized laboratory with 5 attached medical institutions ,where all the district patients’ 20,000 analyses are done a day .

"The most necessary equipments have been bought for us. Among them there is an autoreflectometer. It’s peculiarity is that it is possible to detect eye disease very quickly in children from two months on. Besides it, there is an apparatus that can detect an eye pressure. That is to say, now we will not work with the old methods. These devices will make all of it in an automatic mode here", - noted the ophthalmologist Eldos Tusipbaev.
