114 streets will be repaired additionally for about 83.7 km in Almaty

In June, an average repair of 18 intersections begins with the demounting of tram rails, which will increase the road network’s capacity. 3.7 km of bicycle lanes are planned to install along Toraigyrov and Kablukov streets with improvement of the adjacent territory .

Demounting of tram rails will be made only for 7.5 km in the streets of Shevchenko, Kunayev and Utepov. Medium repairs will be carried out in these areas, including the arrangement of curbs, irrigation ditches, stop pockets and the pained lanes for bicycle paths.

Work is now being done to overhaul Baytursynov the street from Timiryazev to Abai Ave with the arrangement of bicycle paths. Major repair of Zhandosov streetis is underway from Sain street to the Tausamaly village with a length of 2.08 km. The project supplies the expansion of the roadway to 4 lanes, the reconstruction of the bridge across the river "Kargaly", the arrangement of bicycle paths for 2 km and sidewalks for 4 km.

In the near future, 10.9 km of road’s construction will start in Algabas and Akbulak microdistricts of Alatau region and in md. Kalkaman and Altyn Alash of Nauryzbay district for 17.3 km.
