On behalf of the akim of the city of Almaty, compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements in public places is monitored on the territory of the megapolis. Among these objects, is the international airport of Almaty, where the state of arrivals is monitored and whether they have a negative PCR test for COVID-19.
At the airport of the metropolis, a set of preventive measures has been implemented to ensure the safety of passengers and personnel. At the entrance to the terminal, a mandatory measurement of body temperature is carried out. The airport staff strictly control the observance of the mask regime and social distance. Hand sanitizers have been installed throughout the airport. Enhanced disinfection of premises and airside buses is carried out after each trip.
In order to inform visitors of places of possible congestion, there are markings to maintain social distance, the seats in the waiting room are marked in a checkerboard pattern.
Compliance with sanitary standards at the airport is controlled by monitoring groups. Thus, the head of the republican special monitoring group under the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aigul Solovyova, and the Deputy Chairman of the Republican Special Monitoring Group under the Anti-Corruption Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Rafael Hasanov, conducted regular monitoring at the Almaty International Airport for compliance with sanitary and epidemiological measures.
The monitoring group inspected the control measures for observance of the mask regime, observance of sanitary standards in public catering facilities on the territory of the airport. We also checked the availability of thermal imagers, monitors and sanitizers.
“We have tracked the entire sequence and the algorithm that is applied and used at the Almaty airport. What have we seen? First of all, when we enter, we see a monitor that takes pictures of whether you enter without a mask and how much you comply with sanitary standards, ”said Aigul Solovyova, also dwelling on the issue of the work of PCR delivery points.
According to her, the townspeople should show more responsibility and conscientiousness and undergo PCR testing in advance, before returning to the territory of Kazakhstan.
During the inspection, the members of the monitoring group also got acquainted with the route of movement of arriving passengers on international flights. Recall, that according to the Decree of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor, all passengers arriving to Kazakhstan are required to have a PCR certificate of the absence of coronavirus, from the date of issue of which no more than 3 days have passed. Arriving citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the absence of a certificate, are subject to isolation in a quarantine hospital for up to 3 days for laboratory examination for COVID-19 using the PCR method, and foreign citizens are deported.
“We regularly carry out such monitoring in the city of Almaty. We visited the airport, inspected and got acquainted with the innovations that were introduced, together, with the city administration, to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, ”Rafael Hasanov said.
For reference: on February 9, eight international flights with 1524 passengers arrived at the Almaty airport. Among them - 1303 had certificates, 221 - without certificates. Citizens of Kazakhstan who arrived without certificates were tested for COVID-19 by PCR analysis and are awaiting their results in a quarantine hospital.
