Water supply, lighting, landscaping - the reporting meeting of the Medeu district akim with the population
Employment of over 4 thousand people, construction of gas supply networks, an Open Space online reception of citizens : a reporting meeting of the akim of the Medeu region was held in Almaty
To this end, active work is being carried out in the Medeu region to lay engineering networks. In microdistrict Duman, the installation of building systems for water supply and sewerage, with a total length of 44.5 km, have been completed. Now work is underway to pressurize the water supply networks and clean the drainage system. Similar work is being carried out in microdistricts Muztau and Kolsay. In microdistrict Kamenskoye plateau, work is underway to build a reservoir for a total of 300 million tenge. In microdistrict Shirokaya Shel, work has been completed on the installation of building systems of electricity supply for 0.4 kV with a total length of 3 km. As well as the replacement of 3 transformer substations and the installation of 4 additional substations.
In accordance with the instruction of the akim of Almaty, Bakhytzhan Sagintayev, on the development of the city according to the principle of a "City without outskirts", measures are being taken in the Medeu district to further improve the welfare of residents. During the reporting meeting with the population, the akim of the Medeu region, Asset Massabayev, reported on the work done over the past year and answered 70 questions from the townspeople during a three-hour broadcast.
Water supply and sanitation
“According to the Development Strategy “Almaty-2050 ”, we are faced with the task of the prospective development of the Ak-kayin, Kolsay, Sulusay, Alatau, Muztau, Duman, Kensai residential areas and the Kamenskoye plateau residential area,” said the akim of the district.
Pedestrian zones and embankment: implementation of projects for the improvement of the neighborhood
At the same time, a system of online meetings with district residents was launched at the Open space office site. The heads of all branch structural divisions of the district are answering questions from residents live.
Particular attention is paid to the improvement of the district. Thus, the major maintenance of the embankment of the M. Almatinka River has been completed, children's playgrounds and sports complexes have been reconstructed in 6 squares and boulevards. The current repair of the pedestrian zone of the Talgar tract from the Tiksay river to the city border is underway
At the same time, the following works are being carried out through the city departments in the district:
- improvement of the pedestrian zone of the river Malaya Almatinka (from the "Palace of the Republic" to Gogol street). Completion of the work is scheduled for 2021;
- reconstruction of the river embankment Esentai (from Zhamakayev street to the water separator). Completion of the work is scheduled for 2021
reconstruction of the river channel Tiksay. Completion of the work is scheduled for 2022;
- completed project on the reconstruction of the park of the 28 Panfilov guardsmen;
- completed project on the improvement of the pedestrian zone on the street Bogenbai batyr from the river Malaya Almatinka to Nazarbayev Avenue;
- completed project on the improvement of the pedestrian zone of Zhambyl St. from Pushkin St. to Nazarbayev Avenue.
There are 129 dilapidated houses in the region, in which more than 7 thousand people live. From the period 2015-2019 major repairs were carried out in 175 houses. By 2023, it the major maintenance of 223 apartment buildings is planned. From the period 2013-2019, 174 elevators were replaced. By 2025, 50 elevators are planned to be modernized and reconstructed.
Lighting
As part of the order of the city akim, Bakhytzhan Sagintayev, regarding street lighting, work was carried out to modernize the outdoor lighting line on Dostyk ave. The amount of lighting devices is 1148 pieces, the length makes up 24 km, supports - 775 units.
As part of the social responsibility of business in the district, outdoor lighting poles were installed along the streets: Gurilev, Sarsenbaev, Govorov, Shchuchinskaya, Burabaya, in the amount of 76 units.
Moreover, a preliminary count of unlit and partially unlit streets and courtyards was made. In the district, 273 streets are included in the specified list. A design and budget documentation has already been developed. As part of an ongoing PPP project, the construction of outdoor lighting lines is planned for next year.
"Participation budget"
Within the framework of the Participation Budget project, 7 projects were implemented for a total amount of 334.3 million tenge, with the creation of 145 jobs:
- improvement of the site of microdistrict Butakovka, Beiseuova St.;
- improvement of the public garden in microdistrict Duman-2;
- fencing of the Zharbulak river;
- improvement of the site of microdistrict Atyrau, Ryskulov Ave .;
- improvement of the site of microdistrict Alatau, Ibragimova St.;
- improvement of the public garden in the microdistrict Samal-1;
- installation of 8 inclined lifts in 3 underground passages.
Last year, residents placed 83 project proposals for the Medeu district for a total approximate amount of 2.8 billion tenge. As a result of the meeting of the Expert Commission and the voting of residents, 20 projects worth 798 million tenge were approved for 2021.
Gasification
Today the Medeu region is gasified by 95%. At the expense of investors, work was carried out on the construction of main gas supply networks for 39 houses with a total length of 738 meters. Also, a resolution is being developed with investors to connect 50 houses with a total length of 1250 meters. For the reporting period, 7 houses were connected, work in this direction continues. Also, in order to provide gas supply to the Ski Resort tourist base, a gas supply main pipe with a length of 3,200 meters was installed.
Employment provision
As for employment, within the framework of the state program for the development of productive employment and mass entrepreneurship in 2017-2021, "Enbek" in the district since the beginning of the year, 4169 people have been employed. Under the state program "Employment Roadmap-2020", 9 projects have been identified in the Medeu region. 345 jobs were created. Of these, 174 people were employed through the Employment Center, employment contracts were concluded through electronic labor exchange - 184 people.
A "Hearing State": Online Meetings with Residents during a Pandemic
As part of the implementation of the concept "Hearing State", on behalf of the city akim Bakhytzhan Sagintayev, comprehensive work is underway to improve the efficiency of feedback from the population. Taking into account the activity of social networks, interaction with the population is carried out through Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp messenger, Internet resources. So, from January 1 to December 25, 2020, 7826 requests were received through social networks, WhatsApp and Open Almaty.
Within the framework of the project "Almaty - Adaldyk Alagy" under the akimat of the Medeu region, an Open space office was opened, which is aimed at creating the most comfortable conditions for visitors. This is a platform where residents can ask questions and quickly get an answer on the principle of one window. Anyone can get expert advice without an appointment. The office has a self-service space where residents can receive a number of Public Service Center services using an EDS key.
