Sagintayev met with the participants of Digital Almaty 2021

Akim of Almaty Bakhytzhan Sagintayev held a number of bilateral meetings with representatives of the international IT community.

 

During a meeting with the founder of the consulting company in the field of education EduSteppe, Adviser to the Board of Edtech Finland Andrew Nolan, the issues of introducing new technologies in order to increase the effectiveness of education were considered. E. Nolan also presented the possibilities of multidisciplinary approaches to learning, artificial intelligence and adaptive learning.

 

At a meeting with Anastasia Kalinina, co-founder and General Director of the Re-State Foundation, the sides discussed the prospects for sharing experience on strengthening innovative ecosystems, developing new technological solutions and conducting research on innovative management.

 

With the founder and managing partner of Delta work Daniel Ciel and the founder and CEO of Scal8R Igor Ovcharenko, the Almaty Akim discussed the development of innovative entrepreneurship and the creation of ecosystems through various programs and events.

 

The International Forum "Digital Almaty 2021 - Digital Reboot: Leap into a New Reality" took place in Almaty on February 5. The main tasks of the forum are shaping an agenda at the regional and global level in the field of digitalization, new strategies for digital transformation and trends in the field of new technologies, as well as discussing further steps and prospects for international cooperation. This year, the agenda is being shaped taking into account the global changes that have arisen in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

The main topics of the forum were support for domestic IT solutions and the possibility of entering new markets, promoting business relations with regional partners and popularizing digitalization projects.
