The governor of Almaty noted that about 4 thousand apartments were distributed only just in 2016 and in the first quarter of this year in Almaty. It was nearly two times more than it was in 2014-2015.By the end of the year it is planned to distribute another 4,5 thousand apartments.

"Within the first five years in the framework of the" Nurly Zher "program in Almaty, about 670,000 sq.m. flats will be built for 140 billions tenge. At the end of the year, every fourth family will receive their flats in the queue. Today, we are giving keys to 104 waiting families among the disabled people, the large families, the incomplete families, the civil servants, the state employees and the servicemen. Many of them have been waiting for it for a long time by living in rented apartments or with relatives. Today they will feel like the real owners of flats," said B. Baibek.

The governor of Almaty has noted that today they have been doing the all necessary measures in the city to achieve the maximum transparency in making the distribution decisions of flats for people. Now the queue and its movement is carried out only in electronic mode on the portal of the Electronic Government. Also electronic inventory of the queue has been used for the first time, now it is not necessary for the waiting people to come to the Housing Department every year for re-registration, this is done remotely. Practice of SMS mailings has been applied for the first time in order to inform about the waiting lists. In addition, by the end of the year a mechanism will be used to distribute apartments among the waiting lists without the interaction of the human factor in a fully autonomous regime.

The complex of the Athletic village covers an area 23 hectares and consists of 14 houses. Its territory is equipped with modern systems of video surveillance, access control and fire fighting. Here there will be a CNS, a polyclinic, a supermarket, a bank and a post office and a the police office. The modern environmentally friendly materials have been used during the construction.
