The governor of Almaty met with member of the Committee on International Affairs of the German Bundestag

During the meeting it’s noted that the ethnocultural association "German Cultural Center" is successfully functioning in Almaty, the republican newspaper "DeutscheAllgemeineZeitung" is being published, the Association of Germans of Kazakhstan "Wiedergeburt" is actively working. The Republican German Drama Theater plays a significant role in preserving and developing the spiritual and cultural heritage of German citizens, and the transfer of knowledge is facilitated by the Kazakh-German University. Within the framework of agreements between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the German Society for International Cooperation GIZ, a number of colleges in Almaty and other regions introduce dual training taking into account the best German experience.
